3- No news is good news with this setup, but you
still need to subtly monitor the customer's satisfaction.
4. At all times see if you can add to the
products that are being sent until further notice.

Plan Future
Purchases
If you have a product that is being constantly
updated, why not help your customers out and plan their future purchases with
them? For example, a computer store could make a date to call them in 12 months
to discuss an upgrade. A car dealer could let the customer know of the time
line for releases of future models, and make a tentative rough time to call.
Hints and Tips:
1.
Ask
up front to arrange a follow-up call when it's time for an upgrade.
2.
In
the time between the call and follow-up, keep in contact so no one else invades
your turf.

Offer on Next Purchase
Can be risky, as the customer may
come to expect something for nothing every time and you will end up never
getting full price for your service. If you're having trouble bringing people
back, though, it can be a good idea. Simply giving them a gift check to spend
with you next time they come back can work wonders, as can a Buy before
this date and I'll give you this deal.
Hints and Tips:
1.
Make
sure you can afford to make the offer.
2.
It
should only be used if stock is moving very slowly.
3- You don't need big gifts or discounts, just a
little sweetener should do. Rating: 4/5
